Vivid Festival is a light show, held in Sydney, in May and June for two weeks. It has been held, every year, since 2009, and has become quite the tourist attraction. The first time I attended, back in 2010, there really weren’t all that many people. This year, it was totally packed. Last night, I went along with two of my friends in the hope to capture a few photographs.
As I’m a total novice, when it comes to night photography, the below photographs do not do the subjects justice. I hope you enjoy them. The first few were taken just across from the Sydney Opera House, with the remaining taken just outside the Museum of Contemporary Art.

Your photos are really great! Would hardly call you a novice given what you’ve captured. I’ve been wanting to go to Vivid Sydney the past couple of years but haven’t made it across the ditch at the right time.
Thanks so much for the compliment, Sarah! I actually took a ton of photos, and these few were the only ones decent enough. 🙂
