Here’s an interesting observation: some of my recent posts have been viewed hundreds of times, but only have a few comments. This isn’t unusual, and I understand why. I read lots of blogs every day and rarely comment. It’s hard to come up with something witty that feels like a contribution to the conversation. And no one wants to have a hundred comments that basically say “I agree!” But at the same time, I’m very curious to find out who is out there reading my words and even better, where you are all from. So I’ve decided to make it easy for you to comment. There’s virtually no thought required! Just answer this simple question and tell me where you’re from while you’re at it. Don’t be afraid! People who comment are much loved on this blog!
So here it is: an easy question to get your fingers a-typing. If you could go on your dream vacation (and if money was no object), where would you go??

< ![CDATA[Somewhere on each continent.]]>
< ![CDATA[I agree. A trip around the world and back to Northern California. Now I'm tired, that was a lot of typing.]]>
< ![CDATA[The British Isles. And I'm your neighbor over the hill in Sandy.]]>
< ![CDATA[Oh, that's easy. A 3 week trip to Europe, spending most of my time in Italy and France. And then a 2 week trip to Australia and New Zealand. The end.
P.S. I'm the crazy little redhead float nurse. Remember me? ;-)]]>
< ![CDATA[I'm in Nebraska now.
Dream vacation? A tour of the British Isles, and/or Australia.]]>
< ![CDATA[Hmmm...I would start with a trip around the the Dalmation Coast...Maybe visit Trieste in Slovania and Split in Croatia. Then cruise on down and do some island hopping around the Greek islands. As long as I'm in the area, I would jump on over to Turkey, starting in Istanbul and then take a cuise on a small live aboard down the coast.
Finally, I'd jump on an airplane and head to Africa...not the violent areas, but the cool areas with the waterfalls and jungle.
I've done Australia, Central Europe (more times than I can count), Asia and all corners of North America.
I guess my next trip would be to South America...but that's another story....AL M.]]>
I would go on a cruise from Hawaii back to California. This is what my husband has promised to me when I finally retire from working. Can I retire now?? LOL
< ![CDATA[I always comment.
I want to go to Germany.]]>
No Comment. LOL. Sorry. You had me up too late last night, sis! My humor might be lacking today. And the boating rocked, you missed out. Next time for sure.
As you know, I’d plant my white butt on a white beach in the Med.
I would want to vosit every single state of this beautiful country and then I would love to see Scottland and Spain (where my ancestors came from…)
I’d love to see the Holy Land where Jesus walked. I’d also like to see the great pyramids of Egypt, the Sphinx, the Dead Sea, the Leaning Tower of Pisa (before it falls – lol), the Roman Colliseum, the Great Wall of China, take an Alaskan cruise, spend time in a cabin in the Smokie mountains, run along sandy beaches and smell the ocean, visit Mt. Rushmore, the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas (play the nickel slots), New York City (with a tour guide), and visit every LDS Temple on Earth (one session at each). This would take several weeks and lots of money, but wouldn’t it be awesome?! I’m from Ohio, Andi; we went to church together and were in the same youth group.
Salt Lake City to visit my son.
I’m new to your blog, so I’m not one of the hundreds, but I’ll join in if you don’t mind. I think I would go to Greece. It just looks so beautiful!
A warm sunny beach with perfect waves and good restaurants in walking distance.
New Zealand – white water rafting and outdoor activities the whole time.
France and Spain.
Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog. Things seem to have worked out today. I am grateful for your support!
St. Petersburg in the summer….strolling along the canals with my best fellow on my arm and the scent of flowers in the air. Everybody has a 24 hour schedule in the summer there….so much to see.
Or, Dalmatia, walk the coastline and think back two thousand years of events.
Brand new to your blog, best.
All those trips sound wonderful. But after watching the shuttle come down yesterday I think I would love to be one of those space tourist. Since money is no object why not. The thrill that only a few humans in all of humanity have ever had. To stay up there in the station for a week floating and gazing upon our beautiful world would be the trip of a lifetime.
Oh and Greetings from the Jersey Shore!
Depends! With kids, or without? With a nanny or without? I think as a family it would be fun to spend some time on Maui. I’d also love to do Europe with my husband.
I’m in UTAH… but you know that!
i would love to own a boat and dive wherever the mood strikes. now this may take a lifetime, but money is no object so who would like to come and explore the world with me? getting the boat into the mississippi and going north would be fun too as soon as i finish floating the great lakes and all the sink holes of the world, and the dead sea and…….
