The Big Bang Theory is one of those shows that you either love it or you hate it. Many of my friends absolutely hate it, but I think it’s hilarious (and CCB agrees, btw).
It is a story of two brainiac roommates, Sheldon and Leonard, their friends, Raj and Howard, and the hot girl who lives across the hall, Penny. I particularly love Sheldon for his dry sardonic wit. He’s a germaphobe and has OCD and I so completely relate to him!!!! Here’s a clip of him ordering a drink in his own “special” way:

< ![CDATA[Oh yes the Aspie show. I have two of those guys living in my house one is 18 and the other will be 13. The 18 year old is like Raj shy and cautious. The 13 year old like Sheldon says what he thinks and wonders why everyone else thinks its inappropriate. Then they get into a heated discussion about space travel nuclear physics dark matter etc etc and it's time to get out of there. The scary part is they know what they are talking about. That's the Asperger mind for you.]]>
< ![CDATA[In January a friend and I were going over our celebrity crushes. One of his was Penny from this show. I told him I'd never even HEARD of this show and he was like what? Jim Parsons graduated from UH! (which is where he graduated from and where I will soon) Then I read this entry and was like ohh yeah that's that show that..... Hey, it's funny. Then a few days later, after I'd already forgotten about it again, seriously, I accidentally clicked on the wrong button on my remote and I landed RIGHT on the channel just as this show was starting. It was a couple weeks ago--the rerun about the killer robots. I didn't stop laughing the entire episode. That night I ordered the first season on Amazon and over the course of the past 3 days, I've watched the entire thing already. It's safe to say I love this show.]]>
