1. My dog, Sam, almost found a new home when he ran away on Saturday. He was gone for over two hours before finding his way back to our yard. CCB and I were beginning to fret about how we would explain his absence to Lauren and Beth, who are ridiculously attached to him.
2. I was running late for work today and got a speeding ticket for going 52 in a 45 mph zone. Like THAT was even remotely necessary.
3. I was in such a hurry today that I didn’t do my hair and had to spend the day cloaked with the knowledge that my hair looked like crap. And despite what Kim will say (bless her heart), it totally DID look like crap.
4. I was carrying my lunch on a tray from the cafeteria to our break room when the tray became unbalanced and my drink crashed to the floor. Luckily, it didn’t spill all over my veggie burger, but it did make a huge mess that needed to be cleaned up.
5. And worst of all… CCB and I miscalculated and he spent this weekend in my house while I worked 12-hour shifts the entire time he was here. And today, I had to deal with the thought that he was flying home despite the fact that we had spent a grand total of 4 hours together all weekend.
This coming weekend, I’m going to go to Park City with some girlfriends to gawk at celebrities and act like idiots. It will surely be better than the weekend I just concluded. I hope.

As far as the drink thing went, it was funny & it made me laugh, but only because you were laughing too, but that wasn't that bad either. I can say that yes, the whole ticket thing was a complete waste of time for you & the cop.
